Mt Hanao
Bordered by Nagato City and Mine City, it is one of the dividing lines between San'in and Sanyo.
At 699 meters above sea level, it is a sacred mountain that in ancient times was a center for shugen (mountain asceticism). The trailhead is located at Ichinoo, east of Shibuki. Hanao-gongen is enshrined at the summit.
