This year again, famous yakitori restaurants from western Japan will gather in Nagato City!

On September 13-14, 2025, the "Western Japan Yakitori Festival 2025" was held at the Minato Fish Market in the Higashi-Fukagawa district of Nagato City. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Nagato City's town revitalization as a "yakitori town. To commemorate the event, Satoru Sayama, the first Tiger Mask, was invited as a guest speaker. This article reports on the event.

Talk show by Satoru Sayama, the first Tiger Mask

Before the talk show started, the bleachers were already full. When Satoru Sayama took the stage, the venue was filled with applause.

During the talk show, Mr. Sayama talked about the food charms of his hometown, Nagato, as well as episodes from his working days, and ended with a question-and-answer session. After the talk show, a large number of guests lined up to have their two-shot taken with Mr. Sayama.
