This campground allows visitors to enjoy Oumijima Island, one of the 100 best beaches in Japan. The sea in front of the island is a great place for swimming and scuba diving, and a walk along the nearby "Cheonghae Island Nature Study Path" provides a beautiful view of the blue sea lined with oddly shaped rocks and stones, also known as the "Maritime Alps".
A campground where you can enjoy the sea and mountains, located halfway up the highest peak of Qinghai Island, Mt. Sunsets and fishing fires can also be viewed.
The campground is located on Senjyoshiki, a 333-meter-high plateau. It is popular as a campground where visitors can enjoy the spectacular view of the Sea of Japan from the hill, fishing fires on the Sea of Japan at night, and sunrise.
This auto campground faces the calm waters of Aburaya Bay. The view of the Mukozugu Peninsula and windmills on the opposite shore across the inland sea below is truly spectacular. Watching the sunset over Aburaya Bay is also recommended. Sea kayak touring (for a fee) can also be enjoyed with reservations made at least two days in advance during the set-up period.
The Nagato Trail is a place where you can feel and enjoy the nature of Nagato close at hand. The trail is guided by "Nagato Trail Thinkers" who know all about the charms of the mountains. There are viewpoints overlooking the ocean and benches and tables at key locations where you can take a rest and relax.
Bicycles are available for rent at the Tourist Information Center in Senza Kitchen, Roadside Station. Cross bikes, electric bicycles, city bicycles, etc. can be reserved according to your needs.
Nagato Yumoto Onsen Mobility YUMO is a rental bicycle service in Nagato Yumoto Onsen. The store along the Onshin River offers a variety of plans, including the Standard Plan (up to 4 hours), which is ideal for sightseeing in the area, and the "Cho-inori" (up to 1 hour), which can be used casually for a single coin.
Rental bicycle service is now available at Neruyama, a guesthouse in Tawarayama Onsen. Stylish electric bicycles make it easy to explore the hot spring resort and its surroundings.
