Tawarayama Rhododendron Garden opens (2025)

Flower spot with 30,000 rhododendrons of 170 species in full bloom

〜From ~May 2025 to mid-May 2025, visitors can enjoy the flowers of 30,000 "shakunage" alpine plants of 170 species at the "Tawarayama Shakunage Garden" in the Tawarayama district of Nagato City. This garden won the grand prize in the 11th "Flower Tourist Attraction Creation Awards" sponsored by the Japan Tourism Association. It has become a spot visited by many people.
Please come and see the beautiful flowers.
