From today (Saturday, September 14) to Monday, October 14, "Autumn of Utsuwa" Vol. 05, an event to enjoy Hagiyaki culture, is being held at Nagato Yumoto Onsen. A total of five spots, including Onyu, Otosoredo, cafe & Pottery Oto, Otani Sanso, and Tamasenkaku, will be the main venues for the event. In addition to the exhibition and sale of Hagiyaki works by Fukagawa Kiln, a variety of related events will be held in the hot spring resort area. Today, the first day of the event, a ceremony was held at Onyu.
The (∆) ceremony was held at the first venue, "Onyu".
At the beginning, Mr. Ikkei Sakakura from Shinpei Sakakura Kiln will deliver a speech on behalf of the artists of Hagiyaki Fukagawa Kiln, and Mayor Tatsuya Ehara of Nagato City will deliver a congratulatory speech as the guest of honor.

Next, Hayato Kimura, Area Manager of Nagato Yumoto Onsen Machi Co., Ltd. and Takao Tahara of Tahara Tohei Kiln spoke about the purpose of this project, and a commemorative photo was taken at the end.

After the ceremony, one of the special events of this year's event, "Kawadoko Cafe," was presented. Tea was served to the guests on the kawadoko (riverbed) at "Kai Nagato" located on the Otosoregawa River that flows through the hot spring resort area.
