The name-unveiling ceremony was held at the Nagato Toy Museum of Art.
The Nagato Toy Museum of Art held an unveiling ceremony on Tuesday, February 11 to announce the names of the four "wooden carved cats" that the museum had solicited from visitors during the first half of January.
The "Wood Carving of a Cat" is the work of wood carving artist Shigeru Kawanami.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Mr. Iwamoto, chairman of the NPO "Hito to Ki" (People and Trees), which operates the Nagato Toy Museum, the artist, Mr. Kawanami, and three of the four names chosen.
