Various events to enjoy "Utaakari" more

The current Nagato Yumoto Onsen "Otonoshigawa Utaakari 2024" not only features light-up performances, but also offers a variety of workshops and viewing tours to further enjoy the Utaakari.

This article introduces the special event held on Saturday, February 10.

Clay Light Making Workshop

Hagiyaki candle holders will be made in a workshop held at the cafe "cafe & pottery sound" in the hot spring resort area.

The instructor was Zen'emon Sakakura, an artist from "Hagiyaki Fukagawa Kiln" located near the hot spring resort. Many parents and children participated on the day, and the workshop proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.

Local tour of Utaakari with lighting designers.

Shiho Nagamachi, a lighting designer and creative director of "OTONOBUKAWA UTA AKARI," herself will give a guided tour explaining the "charm of light" to visitors.

We also had the opportunity to hear about his thoughts on the lighting design of the hot spring resort area along with "Utaakari," as well as his memories of the local community that have built up with each "Utaakari" event, and his vision for the future.
