The 11th “Yang Kuei: Festival of Flames” will be held (10/21)

Fire-walking ritual at Nison-in, Mukozugu, where the legend of Yang Kwei-Fei remains.

On Saturday, October 21, the 11th "Yanggi-no-Hi Fire Festival" will be held at Nison-in Temple in the Mukatsuku district of Aburatani, Nagato City. The festival will feature the main event, the "Firewalking Ceremony" (monetary donations required), as well as a Japanese drum performance, a play by a local nursery school, and a variety of food, drink, and merchandise stores run by local residents. Please enjoy the fire-walking ceremony at Nison-in Temple, where the legend of Yang Kwei-Hee remains, and receive the power of Mother Nature!
