On July 11 (Sun), the " Small Heki Market" was held at the " Heki no Yokan " in the Hioki district of Nagato City.
This event is organized by Kazunori Sugimura, a member of the Nagato City Regional Development Cooperation Team (in charge of the Hioki area), and features sales of agricultural products from the Hioki area and workshops with local artists.
Blue skies were blue, a change from the previous day, and many people came to the event as soon as it opened.
Three groups were admitted at a time to prevent infection, and they enjoyed shopping for watermelons, tomatoes, baked sweets, Hioki granola, and other attractive products from the Hioki area.
In the main building of "Heki no Yo-kan," handmade goods were sold by handmade artists, and head massages were offered by a newly opened massage parlor in the Hioki area.
The temperature exceeded 30 degrees Celsius on a midsummer's day, and people lined up for cold drinks and shaved ice at the "TukTuk cafe," a mobile vending van.
The "Small Heki no Ichiba" has created exchange among a wide range of generations. The next event is scheduled for Sunday, August 8.
