Ontou," a stopover spa at Nagato Yumoto Onsen, which has been under reconstruction by Nagato Yumori Co. In addition, Ontou Shoku, a restaurant adjacent to Ontou, will open at 11:00 a.m. on the same day.

Designed by Shohei Oka, who is known for his work on the architecture of "Fushozan Onsen" in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, "Onyu" is a one-story structure with traditional Japanese stylistic beauty and a rustic appearance made of plenty of wood. The bathtub, in which visitors can see the hot spring water gushing from the bedrock, features a traditional one-meter deep bath that promotes blood circulation and helps relieve swelling and sensitivity to cold.

The attached rest area is an open space with glass walls on three sides. Visitors can enjoy cold beer and soft-serve ice cream while gazing at the Onshin River flowing through the center of the hot spring resort area.
