The terraced rice fields in the Higashi Gobata district of Aburaya, Nagato City, selected as one of the "100 best terraced rice fields in Japan," attract many photographers every year during the season from late May to early June as a spot where the setting sun of the Sea of Japan and countless fishing fires can be seen simultaneously.

The parking lot is located on the west side of the viewpoint, about 200 meters walk to the photo shoot.
