Nagato Tourism Convention Association
Although May and June are unusually rainless, the hydrangea season has arrived.
This year again, we would like to inform you of the status of color change at the famous hydrangea temple " Koutokuji".
It did not rain much, but it was a good time to see them again this year. The hydrangea on the far right as you enter the temple grounds is very healthy and beautiful. It will be crowded with many tourists this weekend.
The beginning of the changing colors this year varies even within the precincts of the temple. Overall, about 30% of the flowers are at their best. However, the hydrangeas are not vigorous because of the lack of rain. We hope that the rain this weekend will bring them back to life.
Signs reading " Yanggui-no-Sato " are placed throughout the area, so please follow the directions.
Passing along the road, we descend.
After passing the "Kutsu Post Office," turn left.
At the last junction, turn left.
*Please "drive slowly" as the road becomes very narrow from here.
You will see hydrangeas on your right. It is more convenient to park your car on top.
When you turn right, there is a slope to go up.
At the end of the climb, turn left. You will see a large parking lot.
Please park as far back as possible.
This year, in order to provide up-to-date information on the status of Muko-Toku-ji Temple, we will introduce photos taken by visitors to Nanabi on this page. We hope to create this year's "Mukoude Temple" page with your wonderful photos.
We would like to introduce some of the photos posted on #toanavi.
