The Japan Tourism Poster Contest has been held since 1947 for the purpose of improving the quality of tourism promotional posters and promoting tourism in Japan. This year marks the 67th edition of this tourism poster contest, which has a long history at the national level.
Nagato City entered the contest with a poster titled "Hashigo-ing the Best View," which was jointly produced with Shimonoseki City, and it passed the first round of judging. Voting closes at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2019.

[Prizes] All winners A Prize: Local specialty products worth 3,000 yen (50 winners)

Smoked ham set from Nagoya Cochin
- Sudoko (herring roe) from Hokkaido
