Let's go cycling!

Today (March 9), with nice weather and warm temperatures, Senza Kitchen has a lot of visitors.

On a leisurely afternoon, five members of the Nagato Blue Angels, a women's rugby team from Nagato, came to the tourist information center, YUKUTE. They are all having an "off day" today, so they are going to explore the city of Nagato by renting bicycles.

The first thing I noticed was a "tandem bicycle". On the premises, I will try a test ride.

The trick is to ride with your breath firmly in sync.

A member of the group said that he never rides a bicycle in his daily life in his hometown in New Zealand. Please enjoy cycling in Nagato.

Spring is here, let's have fun by bicycle!

Nagato City holds cycle events throughout the year. Why not enjoy cycling at one of the cycle events or rent a bicycle, which will also be held this spring.

Nagato Blue Ocean Ride mini

A short version of "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride with Akiyoshidai.

In addition to the beautiful scenery of the Sea of Japan, which lives up to its Blue Ocean Ride name, participants will also enjoy views of Motonosumijinja Shrine, a superbly scenic shrine that could not be included in this event due to traffic volume.

4th Nagato Photo Cycling

Under the theme of "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride mini," participants will take pictures of beautiful scenery (Motonosumi Shrine, Higashi Gohata terraced rice fields, Kakunoshima Ohashi Bridge, etc.) and their bicycles on the course. This is a photo contest in which participants can participate simply by posting their photos on their SNS (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) with the hashtags "#Nagato pc" and "#Nagato bor".
