Rei-yu" will be open until March 31, 2019.
The municipal public bathhouse "Reiyu" in Nagato Yumoto Onsen will cease operation on March 31, 2019.
Rei-yu" is located a little up the hill from "Onyu (currently under renovation)," the origin of the hot spring's gush, and is a barrier-free public bathhouse with a rest area.

Ong Yu" reconstruction project underway
The Onyu, currently undergoing renovation, is scheduled to open around November, 2019.
The plan is being carried out by "Nagato Yumori," a group of young local residents, and an overview of the project and its efforts can be found on the website below.
In addition to introducing the history of Nagato Yumoto Onsen and its community development efforts, the page also calls for donations to supporters for the reconstruction of Onyu, and has a page for accepting bank transfers and credit cards.
