On Sunday, February 25, "Let's Enjoy Traditional Performing Arts at the Prefectural Theater Renessa Nagato on the JR Mine Line! From Nagato City Station, you will board a chartered tour bus for a tour of the Murata Seifu Memorial Museum, which was recently reopened to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration, and the Senza Kitchen, a Nagato City exchange center. The tour will end at Renessa Nagato, where you will be treated to a performance of "traditional performing arts. Seats are completely reserved for the audience.

The 4th Yamaguchi Traditional Performing Arts Festival
Kyogen, kabuki, puppet theater, and kagura, all designated as cultural assets by Yamaguchi Prefecture, will be presented. In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration, a group from Kagoshima will make a special appearance. Please come and enjoy the splendor of the traditional performing arts of each region up close and personal.

Tour Details
Date & Time Sunday, February 25, 2018 (Stage viewing 12:00 - 16:00)
Meet at 9:40 a.m. in front of the ticket gate of JR Nagato City Station (*You can get on and off at any station on the JR Mine Line).
Participation fee Adults 1,000 yen Elementary school students and younger 500 yen *Fare on the JR Mine Line and lunch are to be paid by participants.
Recruitment: 43 people on a first-come, first-served basis *Close as soon as the number of participants reaches the limit.
Conditions for participation: Those who can come to Nagato City Station on the JR Mine Line (can take the train from any station along the Mine Line).
