There are many different varieties of hydrangeas, and the petals of various shapes are very beautiful. Please come and see them! 
About 3,000 hydrangeas are planted at Koutokuzenji Temple.

The main deity is Shakyamuni Buddha. Originally called Mukotsu-an, the temple was renamed Mukotoku-an after the merger with Kaitoku-ji in 1897, and was renamed Mukotoku-zenji in the Showa period (1926-1989).The temple is also known as "Hydrangea Temple," and is a famous spot for hydrangeas.
