Distributed “12th anniversary commemorative admission tickets” at the Misuzu Kaneko Memorial Museum!

On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of its opening on April 11, Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum will distribute commemorative admission tickets. The front of the commemorative ticket features a pencil drawing of a whale from Misuzu Kaneko's nursery rhyme picture book "Umi to Kamome" (JURA Publishing Bureau) by Nagato City-based illustrator Mau Ozaki, and the back features a portrait of Misuzu and the poem "Whale Hoe". In addition, the commemorative admission ticket can be used as a "bookmark". The museum welcomed approximately 78,000 visitors in the last fiscal year, and has welcomed a total of 1.45 million visitors since its opening in April 2003. The distribution date and time of the commemorative tickets are as follows.
