The cycling event "Nagato Tawarayama Road Opening Commemorative RIDE" scheduled for September 1 (Sunday) is currently expected to be rained out on that day.
The decision to hold or cancel the event will be made by 6:00 a.m. on September 1 (Sun.) at the latest, and will be announced on the "Nanavi" website and "Nanavi" Facebook page.
Registration closed on Friday, August 23, as we have reached capacity.

Participants will receive a "Certificate of Participation" at a later date, so please remember to bring it with you on the day of the event.
The Nagato-Tawarayama Road (5.5 km between Nagato-Yumoto Onsen IC and Tawarayama Kita IC), an automobile-only road connecting Nagato-Yumoto Onsen and Tawarayama, will open to traffic on Sunday, September 8, 2012. On Sunday, September 1, one week before the opening, a special one-day cycling event, "Nagato-Tawarayama Road Opening Commemorative RIDE," will be held.
Although residents of Nagato City have priority in applying for this event (applications for out-of-town residents will be accepted after August 11), we hope you will take advantage of this one-time opportunity to enjoy cycling on the "Nagato-Tawarayama Road.

[Eligibility] Elementary school students and older (Elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian) *People familiar with riding a bicycle
[Capacity] First 50 applicants (Capacity will be limited to the first 50 applicants ( Applications will be closed when capacity is reached)
[Participation fee] Free (rental bicycle use fee not included) *Rental bicycle use must be reserved in advance.
