New type of running event “Nagato Eat Run” now accepting participants (11/30-12/1)

Running local stores as aids

The new running event "Nagato Eat Run 2019" will be held on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1.

Based on the Nagato Travel Run, which is characterized by "no competition, no measurements, and a free course," local stores will serve as "aid stations (water and food stations)" so that participants can enjoy running to the fullest while enjoying "food. After the run, a "sharing party" will be held where participants can mingle while enjoying the aid menu.

Applications are being accepted until Friday, November 22, and you can participate on either one day only. We hope you will enjoy the scenery and food of Nagato City through running.

Time limit] 6 hours (10:00-16:00)
Participation fee] 6,000 yen for 2 days (3,500 yen for 1 day)
Capacity] 50 people each (first-come, first-served basis, will be closed as soon as the number of participants reaches the limit)
Required Equipment] Cell phone, insurance card, 500ml or more water
Conditions of participation
18 years of age or older and in good physical and mental health.
Those who can come to the venue by themselves
Those who follow traffic rules and behave in a moderate manner.
Those who are able to apply online and exchange emails.
Those who understand the purpose of the event, set their own course, read and understand the map, and return to the goal within the time limit.
