It has ripened to a beautiful summer orange color again this year.
On December 8 (Wed.), we visited " Dahibi Natsumikan Genju " in the Dahibi district of Qinghai Island after receiving information that many natsumikan trees were bearing fruit.
Natsumikan trees bloom with faintly fragrant "white flowers" around May, bear fruit, and ripen to a beautiful summer tangerine color over the winter.
Branch trees with the same DNA as the original trees were planted near the original trees, which also bore many natsumikan trees.
The original tree has been maintained in good health by the "Dahibi Natsumikan Original Tree Society," despite its age. When you visit Qinghai Island, be sure to stop by the Ohebi Natsumikan Original Tree.
