Western Japan's Best Yakitori Restaurants Gathered in Nagato

The gourmet event "Yakitori Festival in Nagato 2022" will be held at the Yamaguchi Fisheries Cooperative Minato Fish Market (Higashi Fukagawa, Nagato City) on September 3 (Sat) and 4 (Sun).

Eleven famous "Gotochi Yakitori" restaurants from all over Western Japan will gather at the venue. Visitors can enjoy a comparison of yakitori from different regions.

In addition, there will be stalls where visitors can taste local seafood and mountain delicacies, and stage events such as acoustic live performances and brass band performances are scheduled.

The simple style of yakitori in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, using fresh chicken meat from the brand-name chicken "Choshu Dori" and "Choshu Kuro Kashiwa" is well established because of the Fukagawa Chicken Farmers Cooperative Association, an agricultural cooperative specializing in poultry farming.
