JA Nagato Otsu has launched a new special "Prayer Rice" that has been selected by JA Nagato Otsu for its superb quality and prayed for your happiness at Motonosumi Shrine! On November 29, 2016, the priest of Motonosumi Shrine prayed for the new brand rice "Grain Beauty 2.0" and a tasting and sales event was held on that day. Grain Bijin 2.0" is grown by skilled farmers in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, using less agricultural chemicals, and is a top-quality rice with a grain diameter of 2.0 mm or more and a mouth-watering texture and taste! It is said to be the best rice for curry and rice bowls! In Nagato City, "lala franc" and "Hotel Yanggikan" have started handling this rice! Please try it as a souvenir when you visit Nagato City.
(It was made into porridge and a free tasting was held on the same day! (Sprouted brown rice was mixed in.)
