Next roasting coffee shop OPEN in Tawarayama Onsen area!

Mr. Kosaka, who settled in Nagato City last July after completing his term as a member of the Nagato City Regional Development Cooperation Team, is opening a coffee shop, which he has long wanted!
Since November 2015, with the cooperation of friends and local people, we have been gradually renovating the warehouse space next to the confectionery and general store "Eucalyptus and Taiyo" and finally, on January 21, 2017 (Saturday), we opened our doors.
Before settling in Nagato City, he attended coffee seminars frequently, and he is particular about the beans he roasts in an open-flame roaster, which he drips and takes out.
Of course, coffee beans are also available for sale. Why not take a leisurely stroll through the Showa-era retro Tawarayama Onsen district while sipping a cup of coffee?

Tawarayama Onsen

This hidden hot spring deep in the mountains is said to have been discovered by a white monkey, an incarnation of Yakushi Nyorai.
It has long been known as a therapeutic hot-spring cure with high efficacy.
Lined with wooden inns, the area has a rustic, retro atmosphere, and one can enjoy an even deeper atmosphere by entering one of the alleys.
Most of the inns do not have indoor baths, and morning and evening, yukata-clad spa guests can be seen going to the public bathhouses with the sound of their geta (wooden clogs) echoing in the background.
