Nagato Yuzuki Kichi
Nagato Yuzuki KichiNagato Yuzukichi" is a type of aromatic citrus such as kabosu and sudachi, and is an original citrus of Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is grown in Nagato City, Hagi City, and Shimonoseki City, and is harvested from early August to late October, with a production volume of approximately 10 tons. It was registered as a regional collective trademark on November 2, 2007 (registration number 5088770). Nagato City is the largest producer of "Nagato Yuzukichi" in the prefecture. It is characterized by its fresh aroma and mild sourness, and is a perfect match for soy sauce. Locals eat sashimi with "Nagato Yuzukichi" on top. It is also ideal for processing into sweets and other products. *This time, ripe "Nagato Yuzukichi Komachi" are used. *Season: Mid-August to mid-October
