The best time to see them is usually around mid-June, so it will be a little while before they are in full bloom, but you can enjoy their lovely appearance at the beginning of blooming!
Nanavi will regularly update you on the status of blooming, so please check back.

About 3,000 hydrangeas are planted at Koutokuzenji Temple.

The main deity is Shakyamuni Buddha. Originally called Mukotsu-an, the temple was renamed Mukotoku-an after the merger with Kaitoku-ji in 1903, and was renamed Mukotoku-ji in the Showa period (1926-1989). The temple is also known as "Hydrangea Temple," and is famous for its hydrangeas.
