The public bathhouse "Onyu", which will soon be closed for renovation, will be opened as a private bath for the last time!

Nagato Yumoto Onsen boasts a history of more than 500 years since its opening in 1427.
Among them, Ontou, a public bathhouse that has long been a favorite of Nagato residents, will temporarily cease operations in May 2017 due to reconstruction.
Therefore, as part of the "Thanks ONTO" project, an event to express gratitude to Onyu and to wish for its further development after the reconstruction, the Nagato Yumoto Onsen Town Mirai Review Conference will open the men's and women's baths of Onyu for two days on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19, 2017, as private baths for free by reservation only.
Please enjoy a moment with your family and friends at Onyu, which retains a strong Showa-era atmosphere.

9:00 - 21:00 *Reservations are made every hour starting at 9:00. Last appointment is until 20:00.

Bathing time

50 minutes* 50 minutes is allowed for the preparation of the next guest.

How to make a reservation

Reservations required by TEL or at the office counter *Please inform us of your name, contact information, number of people, age, time of use, and whether you will be using the men's or women's baths.

Reservations can be made by anyone from 1 person. (First-come-first-served basis)

Towels, soap, etc. are not provided. Please bring your own.
Please refrain from bringing food and beverages into the bathhouse. Please refrain from any other activities that may disturb other users.
