The "Bakumatsu ISHIN" temporary rapid train, which was operated for a limited period of time in conjunction with the broadcast of last year's historical drama, will be relaunched with a new look on Saturday, March 19.

A commemorative event will be held at JR Asasa Station on the day the service begins.

The event will include a historical performance by the Restoration Caravan on the theme of the Satcho Alliance, and giveaways for the first 50 visitors.

In addition, local governments along the route will welcome passengers on board the train with PR for tourism and gifts and other hospitality.
