From October 3 (Fri.) to November 3 (Mon.), 2025, "Utsuwa no aki vol. 6 - Hana-mori (Flower Tour)" is being held in the Nagato Yumoto hot spring resort area. This event, the sixth of its kind this year, allows visitors to enjoy a stroll through the hot spring resort area while experiencing the Hagi-yaki culture that lives on in the Yumoto Minose district of Nagato City. There are a total of five exhibition venues, and the opening ceremony was held on the first day, Friday, October 3, at Onyu, the main venue.
At the ceremony, Mr. Otani, Deputy Mayor of Nagato City, and Mr. Shinpei Sakakura, Hagiyaki artist, delivered speeches.

Deputy Mayor Otani expressed his expectations for the event, saying, "We hope visitors will enjoy strolling around the area while experiencing the charm of Hagiyaki culture.

Shinpei Sakakura commented that this year's theme of "flower tour" includes a project to arrange flowers on Fukagawa hagi, "I hope visitors will be able to experience the charm of Fukagawa hagi more deeply.

Finally, Area Manager Hayato Kimura explained about the exhibition hall and introduced special and pop-up projects.

At the Machi no Bandaidai, potted succulents are displayed and sold as a collaborative project between Fukagawa Hagi artists and local florist Yamamura Toyookaen. The beautiful Hagi ware potted plants and matching succulents are all one-of-a-kind. Please stop by and take a look.
In addition, a special three-day event with flower artist Takayuki Tanaka, "Ceramic Flowers -Light Shines Down Today-," will be held at the Minose Public Hall from October 11 (Sat.) to 13 (Mon.). This is a collaboration project of 8 Fukagawa Hagi artists and Mr. Tanaka. Please come and visit the exhibition!
