Kohado Onsen Koryu Center is where you can enjoy Kohado Onsen. It is a day-trip bathing facility located on a hill overlooking Fukagawa Bay, with "Aomi Island" visible on the opposite shore along the bay. The view from the open-air bath is spectacular, and at night you can relax while watching the fishing fires. The alkaline spring water is gentle on the skin.
This famous hot spring is said to have been found by Kobo Daishi in a dream, and legend has it that a rabbit healed its wounds. The hot spring is said to be one of the best in western Japan in terms of radium content, and is effective for beautiful skin, neuralgia, and skin diseases.
