The English club of Otsu Ryokuyo High School in Nagato City created a website to introduce "Sanzaru Manju" from the famous store "Fukuda Sengetsu-do" in Tawarayama.

Tawarayama in Nagato City has a legend of a white monkey, which is deeply related to the history of Tawarayama Onsen, a hot spring famous for its therapeutic waters. It is against this backdrop that the "Sanzaru Manju" with a monkey motif was born. In the past, various stores in the hot spring resort area sold these buns, but today only Fukuda Sengetsu-do sells them, and they are deeply loved by the local people.

The English Club of Otsu Ryokuyo High School took on the challenge of creating a website to let more people know about Tawarayama's "Sanzaru Manju," which is loved by the local community, in order to protect it. This website introduces not only the store information, but also the history of Sanzaru-manjyu and its specialties, as well as the work process.
