Summer Festival at Tawarayama Onsen
On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the Tawarayama Onsen Noryosai 2024 was held in the Tawarayama Onsen district.
This is the summer festival of this hot spring resort. In addition to food and drink from stalls and kitchen cars provided by local residents, there will be yo-yo fishing, live performances, a karaoke contest, Bon Odori dancing, and a raffle.
Venue
Unlike last year when it rained heavily, this year's weather was good. The event was crowded with locals and guests of the inn.
Live music and karaoke contest
On the stage set up in the venue, there will be a live performance by YOU, a singer-songwriter who composed the "Song of Tawarayama Onsen," as well as a karaoke contest by volunteers.

Bon dance
When it was completely dark, the main event, Bon Odori, started! Everyone danced to "Tawarayama Onsen Ondo", "Tawarayama no Uta", and "Ii Yu Dana".
The event concludes with a gift drawing. Lottery tickets purchased at the reception will be raffled off to win items related to Tawarayama.
This year the weather was cooler by sunset, making for good conditions for the summer festival. We are looking forward to next year.
