Revival of color
The exhibition "50 years after his death: Yasuo Kouzuki, third phase 1966-1974" is now being held at the Yasuo Kouzuki Museum of Art in the Misumi district (until January 13, 2025 (Monday, national holiday)).
This is a special exhibition series that comprehensively introduces the work of Kougetsu, whose death will be celebrated 50 years this year, in three sessions over the course of a year. In this third exhibition, works by Kagetsu from 1966, when color began to return to black, to his final years are introduced.
In addition to the paintings, prototypes and objects of folk art created by the artist, as well as the actual painting materials used, are also on display.
The badge gacha has also been updated to coincide with the exhibition.
