More than 30,000 magnificent rhododendrons of about 170 varieties
Tawarayama Shakunage-en," located in the Tawarayama district of Nagato City, will open on Monday, April 1. The Tawarayama Rhododendron Garden, with more than 30,000 rhododendrons of about 170 varieties, is a poetic springtime tradition in the Tawarayama area. During the opening period, local residents will set up stores selling locally grown vegetables and processed foods.
The rhododendrons at Tawarayama are usually at their best in the latter half of April, and the current conditions are still in bud. Please look forward to "Nanavi" for photos of the blooming flowers in the future!
