Foreign passenger ship “Seabourn Sojourn” came to Nagato

A welcome ceremony was also held.

Today (Sunday, March 31, 2024), the foreign cruise ship Seabourn Sojourn is calling at Senzaki in Nagato City. The Seabourn Sojourn left Los Angeles in January for Piraeus, Greece, in June on a 145-day cruise. It anchored about 1 km offshore of Senzaki Fishing Port, and Qinghai Island Tourist Steamship carried passengers to Senzaki.

Those who landed enjoyed sightseeing and shopping on their own, and many also participated in local optional tours.

A welcome ceremony will also be held on board to commemorate the vessel's port call. Nagato City, the Yamaguchi Prefectural Government, and other concerned parties will be on their way to the ship.

Souvenirs and souvenirs were handed out at the ceremony.
