Yakitori Festival in Nagato again this year
The "Western Japan Yakitori Festival 2024" will be held in Nagato City on September 14 (Sat.) and 15 (Sun.). Today, members of the "Western Japan Yakitori Festival Executive Committee," organizers of the event, visited Nagato City Mayor Ehara. A written request for the appointment of the event's chairman was handed to the mayor, who readily accepted.

The event will bring together famous local yakitori restaurants from all over western Japan. This year's event is expected to attract more attention as Yamaguchi Prefecture's brand chicken, Choshu Kuro-Kashiwa, has been registered as a GI (*).
