Today (Thursday, July 25, 2024), Tasan Shima gave a lecture and cooking class at Mukoyo Elementary School in Nagato Yumoto.

Tasan Shima, who has appeared in various media as a "legendary housekeeper," is from Nagato City and is also active as a "Nagato Food Ambassador" to promote the attractiveness of Nagato's food.

This time, in response to a request from Nagato City, we realized a nutrition education project at our alma mater, Koyo Elementary School.

She began her talk with her time in Nagato, then moved to a restaurant to pursue a career in the culinary arts, and later became known throughout the world as the "legendary housekeeper" through various paths.

He then told the students that in making life choices, "I want you to value your own feelings most, and not be swayed by the words of others.

In the following cooking class, everyone will make "Croque Monsieur" and "Green Salad" together.

We learned directly from Shima how to make white sauce, tear beautiful vegetables, and make dressing.
