Fair and fireworks in the Aburaya area

The "Hitomaru Night Market 2023" was held today (Monday, August 14) in the Aburatani area. This is a summer festival in the area, with a fair at the livestock market and fireworks launched from the nearby Kakebuchi River.

The fair

Local residents will set up night stalls for yo-yo fishing, super ball scooping, target shooting, and other activities.

The event also attracted a large number of visitors, including kitchen cars and other food and beverage stalls from the city and beyond.

Bon Dancing and Fireworks

Before the fireworks display, there was a Bon Odori dance performance by volunteers and others who jumped in and danced to "Aburaya Ondo.

After the Bon Odori dance is over, it is finally time for the fireworks display at 8:10 p.m.

Fireworks were shot into the night sky of Aburaya for about 15 minutes until 8:25.

After the fireworks, everyone headed home. One summer in the Aburaya area has come to an end. See you next year!
