Today (Tuesday, August 15), a safety prayer ceremony for the "Yakitori JAPAN Festival 2023 in Nagato" was held at the Goshobaru Grand Shrine in the Nishi-Fukagawa area.
This is a Shinto ritual to pray for the success and safety of the event "Yakitori JAPAN Festival" to be held on Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th. Event-related people gathered at the main shrine of the Grand Shrine to offer their prayers by offering a tamagushi (a small wooden skewer) each.
