30th Anniversary Exhibition

A special exhibition, "Gifts from Painters III: New Collection" is currently being held at the Yasuo Kagetsu Museum of Art in the Misumi district until November 12 (Sun.). This exhibition commemorates the 30th anniversary of the museum's opening. This is an exhibition of works bequeathed by Mrs. Fumiko Kagetsu (died in 2021), wife of the artist and the first honorary director of the museum.

The 50 paintings on display range from the early years of his career as a painter to works from his later years. The exhibition includes ink paintings from his childhood, works that were exhibited before his death but not shown to the public for a long time, and art works from his collection, making it a worthwhile exhibition.

In addition, the museum is currently giving away a novelty to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the museum. A postcard is inserted, and an admission ticket can also be inserted on the reverse side.
