First sunrise in Nagato in 2023 (SENJIATATSUKI)

Happy New Year! We look forward to your continued patronage of the Nagato Tourism Site "Nanavi" in the New Year. Here are some photos of the first sunrise of the New Year at "Senjojiki" in the Hioki district.

First sunrise of the year 2023 at Senjojiki

Shortly before sunrise time, many people crowded the summit of Senjyoshiki. Everyone was looking toward the east, eagerly waiting for the sunrise.

At a little past 7:20, the sun finally appeared. The sun finally appeared.

Although the sky was somewhat cloudy, the sky was beautifully tinted and we were able to see a wonderful first sunrise of the year.

We will do our best to bring you the charms of Nagano in this year as well.
