Information about the “Satoyama Rose” open garden (5/22-6/4)

You can enjoy the magnificent rose garden again this year!

An open garden will be held at " Satoyama Rose " in the Tawarayama district of Nagato City from Sunday, May 22 to Saturday, June 4.

This is a rose garden started by a couple about 15 years ago with the purpose of managing their family's garden, abandoned farmland, and surrounding forests in an effort to revitalize a devastated satoyama.

Although the space is open to the public, we ask that visitors wear masks and take other infection control measures.

Various types of plants, including roses, are planted.

Why not take this opportunity to visit for the healing power of flowers, plants, etc.?
