Notice of the 2022 “Dori Whale Festival” (7/17)

First time in 3 years since 2019

On Sunday, July 17, the "2022 Dori Whale Festival" will be held for the first time in three years in the Dori district of Aomi Island, Nagato City.

This festival was started in 1992 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the construction of the Whale Tomb, and the heroic scenes of old-style whaling are reenacted.
