Volunteers took on the challenge of "the steepest hill" to make the next event more exciting!

Today (June 13th [Sunday]), the "5th JAL Mukouzugu Double Marathon Spin-off Video - Challenging the record of the King of Gigantic Hills! 〜was filmed in Nagato City today (June 13th [Sunday]).

This video was produced for those who were looking forward to participating in the 5th JAL Mukouzugu Double Marathon, which was recently announced to be cancelled, and for those who are considering participating in the next event (scheduled to be released on June 29 [Sunday]). The video features local and JAL volunteers attempting to set a record for the sectional prize in the "severely hilly" section, a feature of the "JAL Mukou Tsugu Double Marathon".

The "Gekizaka" section is 4.8 km from the exit of the parking lot of Motonosumi Shrine to the entrance of the parking lot at the top of Senjojiki, and was run three times today, once as a 10-man relay, once as a 5-man relay, and once as an individual.

In the relay division, participants competed in a non-contact relay race.

In the individual division, participants ran/walked in their own style.

The course is not long, but the difference in elevation is an astonishing 333 meters! The continuous ups and downs were so severe that everyone running the course had a "pissed off" look on their faces.

The video is scheduled to be released on June 29 (Tuesday), "Mukatsu(2) Ku(9) no hi" (the day of 6), on the Nagato City official PR channel on Youtube. Please look forward to it!
