Nagato City is currently hosting a pre-camp for the Brazilian 7-a-side women's rugby team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
On Friday, July 16, the sixth day of their stay, an exchange event with local residents was held at SWEET AS, a sports and restaurant complex in the Senzaki district of Nagato City.
Due to the new coronavirus infection control measures, the exchange between the Brazilian delegation and the citizens was conducted through a glass window. The exchange took place through such programs as "Yukata (summer kimono) dressing experience," "Introduction to soba (buckwheat noodle) making," and "NAGATO's food hospitality.

SWEET AS, the venue for this exchange event, was used to enjoy sports and food and beverage.
Opened in September 2020, it has a sports court, bouldering, trampoline, and other sports facilities for adults and children, as well as a restaurant featuring international cuisine and New Zealand wines in a setting with an international flavor.
Like SWEET AS" and "Love it! and "awesome!" and "cool! Cool! and as in the case of this exchange event, it is a facility where people from all walks of life can interact with each other while feeling close to the sport.
