Tuesday, March 3, Doll's Festival.

We visited the " Tawarayama Onsen Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival)" being held at " Hakusaru no Yu" in Tawarayama Onsen.

In this event, which started on Sunday, March 1, eight sets of seven-tiered dolls are displayed in the lobby of Hakusaru no Yu, a hot spring bathhouse in Tawarayama.

All dolls were donated.

Time flies when you see the differences in costumes, facial expressions, ornaments, and other details.

The end of the fiscal year gets a little hectic.

It was a relaxing and peaceful time.

Hina Gozen and Japanese sweets set are also available.

Restaurant Ryoufutei, located next to the lobby, offers "Hina Gozen with bathing ticket (1,680 yen including tax)" for a limited time only.

Limited to 20 people per day (first-come, first-served), so you may want to come for dinner in time for lunch.

In the lobby, "Japanese Sweets Sets" are sold every day during the Hinamatsuri period from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This is the smile on my face as I eat delicious sanshoku dango (three-colored dumplings) in front of many hina dolls.

The Tawarayama Onsen Hina Festival is held for about a month.

During the festival, there will also be special events such as Hina Gozen, Japanese sweets sets, concerts, and Shishi-nabe hot pots for sale on certain days.

Cherry blossoms are also expected to bloom earlier than usual, so perhaps you can enjoy the "Tawarayama Onsen Hinamatsuri" with cherry blossom viewing in the second half of the event.
