Spend time with trees. Healing Space

This fall, two guest rooms at Tamasenkaku in Nagato Yumoto Onsen were renovated and reborn as terrace111 and terrace112, new spaces connected to the terrace.

The flooring, made from abundant local wood, greets guests with a texture that makes you want to walk barefoot and a calming scent. The simple gray walls also gave the space a special feel, as if disconnected from everyday life.

The design for this building was created by Shohei Oka, who is also designing Ontou, a hot spring facility that will open in March 2020 in Nagato Yumoto Onsen. The theme of the project is "Spend time with wood. The flooring, terrace, and furniture are all carefully designed under the theme of "Spend time with wood.

Beyond the large window at the back of the room is the private terrace that gives the room its name. Take a moment to step outside and feel the breezes of the four seasons, or enjoy the autumn leaves all to yourself in the fall. You can relax and unwind in the open space that seems to lead directly from the guest room to the terrace.

Women's indoor clothing includes two types of "FOG LINEN WORK" dresses and a full range of amenities. These items elevate an adult's holiday to something simple yet stylish.

Luxurious time spent on the terrace

The "terrace" accommodation plan includes two meals per night, and breakfast can be served in your room (if you prefer Japanese food, it will be served in the breakfast room). Bagels, yogurt, and hot coffee (or tea) were brought in a basket.

On fine days, tables can be set out on the terrace, where you can enjoy an elegant morning while gazing at the sky.

In addition, the coffee provided in the guest rooms was an original blend from Coffee & Roaster Yama, a home-roasted coffee shop in the Tawarayama area of Nagato City. The deep-roasted bitter taste seemed to add color to the healing time.

Finally, next spring, Nagato Yumoto Onsen will be reborn.

New initiatives are underway in various parts of the hot spring resort area, where visitors can enjoy strolling around, to make their stay more enjoyable. Please look forward to the future of Nagato Yumoto Onsen.
