A new symbol of Nagato Yumoto Onsen

On March 18 (Wed.) at 10:00 a.m., the reconstructed "Ontou, " a drop-in hot spring bath that has become a symbol of Nagato Yumoto Onsen, opened, and the "Ontou Shoku," a restaurant building completed across the street , also opened at 11:00 a.m.

On-yu-shoku" is located in a warm, woody space with open windows overlooking the Onshin River and bamboo staircase.

During lunch hours until 2:00 p.m., the main menu items are "Nagato Chicken Rice," "Nagato Egg Chicken Rice," and "Yumoto Chicken Udon" using Nagato City's specialty, Choshu chicken. The tender and flavorful chicken and vegetables are a welcome relief.

Around noon, the restaurant became so crowded that the seats were filled to capacity, and more and more customers began to walk through the hot spring resort area. After taking a bath at Onyu, they went to Onyu Shokudo across the street or took a rest at Onyu Hiroba by the river, enjoying the atmosphere of the reborn hot spring resort area.

Ongyushoku offers three different menus for lunch, tea time, and dinner time, as well as a takeout menu. On a warm day like today, when you can feel the arrival of spring, please enjoy strolling around with a light meal or drink in hand.
