First Prize in the Online Voting Category of the 67th Japan Tourism Poster Contest

The "Hustle for the Best View" poster won first place in the online voting category.

On Wednesday, April 17, the results of the Japan Tourism Poster Contest, now in its 67th year, were announced, and the "Hashigo-ing the Best View" poster, jointly produced by Shimonoseki City and Nagato City, took first place in the online voting category.

This poster features Kakushima Island (Shimonoseki City) and Motonosumi Shrine (Nagato City), two of the most scenic spots in Shimonoseki and Nagato Cities, and is designed to showcase the charm of these two scenic spots in a single trip.

The Shimonoseki Nagato Cooperation Project Expert Group of the Choshu Road Tourism Liaison Committee (produced by five o'clock shadow) entered this competition, and voting was held during February and March of this year.

If you want to haggle for the best view

Until the end of March 2020, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (some days are excluded), the "Yamaguchi Spectacular View Enjoyment Bus," a bus tour that allows visitors to enjoy two spectacular views, is in operation from Yamaguchi City. In addition, the "Japan Sea Spectacular View Tour Bus" is scheduled to operate from Hagi/Ishimi Airport starting on Saturday, May 11.
