The Nagato Yacht Festa, held every July for the 26th year, features a "yacht race" around Cheokai Island every year, as well as a "kids' triathlon" and a "yacht race spectator cruise.
The Kids' Triathlon will be held on Friday, June 28, and each event is now accepting participants until Friday, June 21. For details, please see below.

Application Guidelines
Number of participants】A・B class each about 40 people (boys and girls of elementary school age who are confident of completing the specified distance)
[Participation fee] 500 yen (collected on the day)
[Application] Please fill out and seal the application form and send it to the event office (FAX is not acceptable)

[Deadline] Friday, June 28th *Close as soon as the number of participants reaches the limit.
[Bring] Clothing (including swimsuit), shoes, bicycle, helmet, copy of insurance card, and other necessary items. Please bring other necessary items by yourself.
Others】
Participants' accident insurance will be taken out by the secretariat
Basically, participants are requested to pick up and drop off their bicycles by themselves
Bicycles will not be loaned out.

Experience Event
Yacht Race Watching Cruise
- Departure time: 9:40
- Location: Qinghai Island Tourist Steamship Terminal
- Capacity: 25 people (in order of application)
- Participation fee: 500 yen/person (collected on the day)
Snorkeling Experience
- Reception: 11:30~.
- Location: Senzaki Sawayaka Beach
- Schedule: ① 12:00～ ② 13:00～
- Target: Elementary school students and older
- What to prepare: swimsuit and change of clothes
- Number of applicants: 6 for each session *If there are too many applications, the number will be determined by lottery.
- Participation fee: 500 yen/person (collected on the day)
Banana Boat Experience
- Reception: 11:30~.
- Location: Senzaki Sawayaka Beach
- Schedule: ① 11:45～ ② 12:00～ ③ 12:15～ ④ 12:30～ ⑤ 12:45～ ⑥ 13:00～
- What to prepare: Swimsuit and change of clothes *Please take adequate measures against heat.
- Number of applicants: 4 people per session (in principle, please apply in groups of 4) *In the event that there are too many applicants, the number will be determined by lottery.
- Participation fee: 500 yen/person (collected on the day)
SUP Experience
SUP is a water sport in which you stand on a buoyant board and paddle (oar) to advance.
- Reception: 11:30~.
- Schedule: ① 11:40～ ② 11:55～ ③ 12:10～ ④ 12:25～ ⑤ 12:40～ ⑥ 12:55～ ⑦ 13:10～ ⑧ 13:25～
- Location: Senzaki Sawayaka Beach
- Target: Elementary school students and older
- What to prepare: swimsuit and change of clothes
- Number of applicants: 1 person per session *In the event that there are too many applicants, a lottery will be held to determine the order of experience.
- Participation fee: 500 yen/person (collected on the day)
Japan Coast Guard Patrol Vessel Open House
- Open to the public: 10:00-15:00
- Content: In addition to the tour, visitors can try on uniforms at a special booth of the Senzaki Coast Guard Department in the Senza Kitchen parking lot of the Roadside Station.
- Location: Roadside Station Senza Kitchen
- Participation fee: Free
- Note: No special application is required. Visits can be made on the day of the event. The event may be canceled for certain reasons.
